LINDSAY GOWING PROMOTED AT THE EMERALD COAST CONFERENCE CENTER

The Emerald Coast Conference Center proudly announces the promotion of Lindsay Gowing to the position of Events Supervisor. Ms Gowing started her career at the Emerald Coast Conference Center March of 2003, a month before the center’s grand opening. She previously worked at the Emerald Coast Tourism Development Council, where she was an Information Specialist.

Prior to Lindsay's promotion, her position as Event Coordinator allowed her to coordinate more than 675 successful events at the center, including conferences, tradeshows, sporting events, concerts, weddings, and military functions.

“Lindsay’s vast experience, attention to detail, and true appreciation for every customer makes her a delight to have on staff,” says Bill Leaman, General Manager.

In her new role as Events Manager, Lindsay will provide overall supervision of the Events Division, perform operational planning for events held in the Conference Center and various operational procedures.

Lindsay grew up along the beautiful Emerald Coast and received her Bachelor’s degree of Science and Business Administration at The University of West Florida. Her pleasant attitude and ability to coordinate spectacular events will be helpful in her new position supervising her staff. Lindsay is a member of Meeting Planners International and is currently working on her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation, a prestigious credential that is recognized throughout the meetings, conventions, and exhibitions industry.

Lindsay is married to Tom Gowing and has a beautiful daughter, Payton.
